I believe we have come to a good compromise. We will now allow 5 log-ins at a time for each user.

sounds very reasonable! Will probably cut down on support calls also when you exceed your limit of 2 cause you keep restarting your modem or having network troubles... and you're waiting for the sucker to time out... Thanks paul!

We did consider allowing unlimited connections, however we do provide service a few large business with up-to a few thousand computers each. If they decided to take advantage of the tunnel it would mean us a having to allocate a part of the server cluster just to them. I do understand the time out issues. It had become one of the bigger tech request problem. Hopefully from this point on it will be a thing of the past.

It's almost complete. It still has a few bugs that need to be fixed. After Torix we will get it complete.

Sorry in advanced about the dumb question, but wasn't 100% sure. I signed up for the free online pc, but I still can't access the tunnel.
Do I have to request access to tunnel.acanac.net separately?
Thanks
Greg

Greg Hey Greg...Welcome to Acanac, you finally made it. As far as tunnel.acanac.net goes here's a link on how to set it up. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=8491You need to tell support you want to use the New Tunnel, not the original one that used nx.acanac.net as host and required the Online PC. Have Fun

Thanks, enjoying it so far. Waiting for the line to map. I'll give it a week. Then see if I can get on FAST-G 800 up and keep this 6016 profile I've had 8Mbit bell test profile on this line before, does well. Remote is like 100-150 meters away
