I was connected fine all day, lost internet connectivity while on the box and ever since then I'm getting the following
NX> 103 Welcome to: nx.acanac.net user: myid
NX> 105 listsession --user="myid" --status="suspended,running" --geometry="1280x1024x32+render" --type="unix-kde"
NX> 127 Sessions list of user 'myid' for reconnect:
Display Type Session ID Options Depth Screen Status Session Name
------- ---------------- -------------------------------- -------- ----- -------------- ----------- ------------------------------
NX> 148 Server capacity: not reached for user: myid
NX> 105
/usr/libexec/nx/nxserver: line 438: /usr/bin/perl: Permission denied
Killed by signal 15.
Unsure if it was a bug that caused it so posting it here

When I type in a textbox, the cursor moves around. Usually, it moves back to the beginning of the line. Sometimes, it's in another area of the textbox. It's quite annoying. I don't know whether this is KDE or NX problem.

two problems:
1)at the cursor positions periodically get symbol "=", so can not type anything as "=" comes after every character
2) how to resize the window to the full screen on my monitor (not online computer).

1) slash problem '/' comes out as 'é' and '\' comes out as '<'. Is the keyboard profile marked to the French Canadian keyboard ? I use the English US keyboard layout. This is very problematic because it prevents you from typing addresses. Note that if I copy paste the '/' or the 'é' I can bring it back to my computer fine. It must be a keyboard layout issue.
2) when I connect, I get that error message posted previously about the sound device not being available. I did enable multimedia support on the "Services" tab, but it still does not work.
Thanks.[/quote]

1) I don't have that problem.
2) I am a new user and have the same problem day 1. Following info from another post, I used "Control Center" to configure the sound. In the "sound system" configuration screen: Enable networked sound. hit [Apply]. Go to the "Hardware" tab and select an audio device and hit [Apply]. The only one that seems to kind of work is "Enlightened Sound Daemon". Most of them result in the error message posted previously "device /dev/dsp can't be opened (No such file or directory)". Selecting "Network Audio" causes the sound server to crash. I suspect some device drivers might be missing but I am no Linux expert. Even with my audio device selection, the sound is choppy. Playing around with the sampling rate and "Skip Prevention" controls did not help. I only get system sounds and no sound from any web sites.

there seems to be a problem with the nspluginviewer for konqueror. i assume this is the flash plugin.
speedtest.net no longer loads properly. i will often just get a white screen where the test should be. occasionally i will recieve a crash notification.
Quote: The application unknown (nspluginviewer) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV).
