Free SSH tunnels now infect for all DSL Users.
Host is: tunnel.acanac.net
Your Login: is your DSL user name without @acanac.net
Your PW: is the same as your DSL password.
Before I send out a mass email to every client please try the new improved tunnels out. Let me know if you notice any difference in speed between encrypted connections and none encrypted connections.
Please beware that these tunnels are limited to Acanac DSL IP's only.
Our next project on the encryption side is to offer full VPN encryption. We are trying to incorporate it right on the DSL modem so no extra work is required on the clients part. VPN encryption may be an add on service since it is costing us a bit on RND.

So on tunnelier I just use the same settings but just change the host?

No it's not the same.
You use your DSL login without @acanac.net
Your password is the same as your DSL login.
Your login and PW was provide in your welcome letter.

Works great, maxed out 2 different torrents.  I noticed the File Transfer and Console have been disabled.

This is strictly for encrypting the traffic and passing it along. Speed is the priority and adding extra services to the cluster would eventually slow it down. _________________

Is the server down this morning?
I'm getting "Server disconnected without sending a disconnect message"
Old "nx" one is fine.

Don't know if you guys just fixed something at the same time I was trying something but it now works.
I decided to try and cycle my modem to grab another IP. When I came back online with the new address the tunnel connected. If you didn't just fix something maybe you guys missed some IP ranges. My old IP was 67.212.4.32

I believe we did miss some IP ranges. I will have one of my admins go through the IP ranges.

We had a few small outages last night starting at around 11PM. These were on the Cogent side and should of not disconnected your SSH session. Early this afternoon we had an outage on the free NX system not the new tunnel cluster. Please make sure that you were no mistakenly connected to the NX system.

What am i doing wrong folks...
I replaced the host address in Bitvise Tunnelier from nx.acanac.net to tunnel.acanac.net.
The username (by itself) and the password is the same as it works presently on the nx system. However, i get the messgae "Server disconnected without sending a disconnect message".
My IP now is 67.212.15.X. Thanks
